Conditions of Hire

    1. The hirer is responsible for the exclusion from the Hall/Room of all persons not authorised to be present, for the observance of the requirements of the licence, and for the full cost of any loss or damage caused during the period of hire and occupation.
    2. The Hall/Room should be cleared within half an hour of the end of the period of hire otherwise an extra charge may be levied.
    3. A representative of the hirer must remain in the Hall/Room until all other persons including band, group or other performers have left.
    4. No alcoholic or other drink may be brought into the Hall/Room at any time.
    5. No alcoholic drinks can be taken out of The Club, Britannia Room or Park Hall.
    6. Any band equipment, which is positioned on the floor of the Hall/Room, must be behind a line level with the front of the stage, or other designated area.
    7. The hirer is responsible for ensuring there is a mobile phone available from the first arrival to the last person departing the event.

Room Capacities

The room capacities are as follows, depending on the layout and type of event.

      • Park Hall – 180
      • Britannia Room – 120
