We are delighted that we will be able to re-open our doors on Thursday 16th July, however, there will be various changes to the club, ensuring we follow government guidelines and procedures. These are for the safety of all our members, guests, staff, suppliers and partners.
Some of these include the following:
-
-
- One-way access in and out of the building.
- Access will be from the main car park entrance by the Britannia Room.
- Exit from the doors near the bowls lawns.
- No background music
- No television
- You will not be permitted to stand or sit at the bar
- As part of the Track and Trace procedure, when you enter the building, you will be required to provide us with your name, address, phone number and membership card. Non-members will need to provide proof of identification, e.g. driving licence, passport, security id card or utility bill dated within three months
- You will need to order and pay for your drinks and snacks at the side bar and collect your drinks from the main front lounge bar.
- To reduce the risk of infection further, we would ask that you pay for your order using contactless cards or devices (minimum order £2.50). We will, of course, accept cash if this is not possible.
- All our bars will have protective pvc screens
- Hand sanitiser stations will be situated around the club
- Children will need to remain with an adult at all times and must not be allowed to run around the club
- A table with trays has been provided for you to take your empty glasses and bottles.
- No cheese or ham rolls
- We have removed some tables and chairs to ensure social distancing, but the capacity for the club lounge still remains around 80 people.
- On good weather days you are more than welcome to use the club house lawns by bringing your own chairs or ground rugs, so you can enjoy your drinks and visit outside.
- One-way access in and out of the building.
