Lose yourself in songs from the folk traditions of Eastern Europe and beyond with an accessible and modern flair. Described by BBC Radio Shropshire’s Genevieve Tudor as ‘Brilliant… like The Ukrainians meet Klezmer’\, this feel-good five-piece will have audiences whistling all the way home. \nDistinctive melodies played on oboe and laúd/mandolin are woven with classically rooted violin harmonies and underpinned by an energetic rhythm section of guitar\, bass and drum. Songs are performed in their original language resulting in an authentic and captivating experience like no other. \nAudiences can expect an evening of top-quality musical entertainment unlike anything they’ve heard or seen before. Entirely innocent sub-postmasters had their lives torn apart and faced bankruptcy\, isolation and jail for crimes that were never committed\, for debts that never existed. \nDirectly informed by conversations with affected sub-postmasters\, Make Good dives into this most local of stories\, capturing the raw emotions\, the bewilderment and the unbreakable bond of faith and family that were put to the test.
