DESCRIPTION:Burns Night is Saturday 27th January. Well\, actually the 265th anniversary of the great poet’s birth was yesterday\, but we are celebrating on the Saturday. \nScottish Stag Antler Sgian Dubh\nWe will have a fine range of whiskies on offer – single malts and blends from all corners of the globe. At 9pm John Eardley will ‘address the haggis’ in his native tongue prior to disembowelling it with a Sgian-dubh . \nThe haggis is not sacrificed in vain\, and from 7pm we are serving a portions of haggis\, neeps and tatties (veggie option available)\, together with a malt whisk(e)y for a mere £8! This needs to be pre-ordered (but paid for on the night) by emailing me (chairman@wythallcommunityclub.org.uk) or signing up on the form behind the bar.
